Professional Fees and Billing in Mediation

SAAM is pleased to present a focused and practical three-hour panel webinar, Professional Fees and Billing in Mediation, taking place on Friday, 29 May 2026, from 10:00 to 13:00. 

The webinar will be facilitated by Mervyn Vermeulen, a dual-qualified lawyer, NABFAM-accredited mediator, Managing Director of Vermeulen Attorneys, and Fellow of the International Academy of Family Lawyers. He will be joined by Barbara Malan, Director at B-Malan Attorneys Inc, a seasoned litigation attorney, mediator, and legal consultant; Adv Etiene van Wyk, Advocate of the High Court of South Africa, former SAAM Chairperson and NABFAM Director; and Bev Loubser, a collaborative divorce and family law practitioner and mediator specialising in family law matters.

This session will guide mediators through the practical, ethical, and professional considerations involved in structuring fees, managing billing, and sustaining a viable mediation practice.
