Mission Statement SAAM is a non-profit multidisciplinary professional organization, established in 1988. It is a regulatory body for its members and is involved in family mediation through education, training and facilitation of family related matters. Its aims and objectives are contained in a constitution, a copy of which is available on request. |



SAAM’s Accreditation Requirements
· Completion of a basic mediation course and proof thereof. · Your field of specialization, additional training and proof thereof. · A brief description of your mediation experience. · Minimum of two information-evenings / workshops / seminars, per year and proof thereof. · Minimum of two mediations per year and proof thereof. · Sworn Declaration that you were not convicted of an offence involving a child. · Acceptance of SAAM’s Constitution and Code of Conduct. · Paid membership.
